Tip #5 Time Wasters (Guide to Being Temporarily Health Challenged)

When you’re being held hostage at a medical facility such as the ER or the Imaging waiting room, you have a few options. You can spend your time screaming and throwing things at the nurses (a course many patients choose to take) or you can entertain yourself with some hilarious online Time Wasters.

Like enjoying iPhone autocorrect mistakes on Damn You Autocorrect. SO funny.

Here’s a sample:

Here is the start of my list of great Time Wasters (thanks to April Henry, Suzanne Young and E.M. Kokie for many of these):

Cake Wrecks

Cute Overload

Shit My Kids Ruined

Zooborns

Fail Blog

Damn You Autocorrect

What are your favorite online Time Wasters? Please share them and I will add them to the list!

Love to you all,

Bridget

  1. Bridget, I saw that one on damnyouautocorrect last week and I had tears running down my face, I was laughing so hard. Way funnier than most of the ones where a “dirty” word got inserted.

I like to waste time on Slate.com reading the “Dear Prudence” articles. I usually like her answers and of course it’s fun to peep into other people’s lives through the problems they write in about.

  2. Hey Bridget – My favorites are unnecessaryquotes.com
    and passiveaggressivenotes.com.
I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately. Hope all is well.

  3. Oo! Wasting time! My favorite subject! Love passiveaggressivenotes.com, ourvaluedcustomers.blogspot.com, postsecret.com (for the deep and meaningful), and, of course, regretsy.

  4. Hey Bridget –

I also like passiveaggressivenotes.com BUT another good one (and possibly just because I am in this stage in my life) is shitmykidsruined.com. And of course darwinawards.com.

  5. I second awkward family photos. James and I really love it.
    A less happy one is
    http://www.ihatemyinlaws.com
I discovered this as I had that kind of week.
Some of the stories are pretty good especially if you are killing time in an ER- which I hope you aren’t doing anytime soon!
